Victoria, BC – The Capital Regional District (CRD) Integrated Water Services advises residents that a stronger than usual chlorine smell and taste may be noticed until the end of January in some parts of Greater Victoria, as the result of maintenance activities related to the disinfection process that will be completed by January 18, 2021.
From December 5, 2020 to approximately December 13, 2020, the Capital Regional District will be transferring the source of supply for the Greater Victoria Water system from Sooke Lake Reservoir to the Goldstream Reservoir System in order to inspect the Kapoor Tunnel.
On September 4, 2018, SSL filed with the BCUC an application to register the Westhills Thermal Energy System (Westhills TES) as a Stream A Thermal Energy System (TES). This application was made in accordance with the BCUC Thermal Energy Systems Regulatory Framework Guidelines (TES Guidelines).
